Paul & Lara

This futuristic brother/sister pop duo charmed audiences and gained a following by performing at various clubs around the L.A. area. Their self-released demo cd was a favorite on local stations KXLU and KUCI. In 1998 they recorded a 3-song session at a recording studio with producer Bob Hurley, "Picturella" (a song about watching too much television, was recorded and featured on the compilation Heal the Bay on Mojo Records) Paul & Lara, who now go by the moniker of "Layton" have released their first full-length entitled "Grand Design" on Leftwing Recordings.
