Spraydog
Spraydog formed in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1996 from the thriving local lo-fi/punk/diy scene, and soon made an impact with their somewhat shambolic yet captivating live shows. Their first 7" Lemonade came shortly after and was quickly noticed and played by Radio One's John Peel, bringing the band to the attention of the wider UK indie scene, and leading to more 7" releases on a variety of labels. After the release of the band's first album Citrus Bitumen' the line-up changed, the new grouping rapidly consolidating itself with a three week spell supporting Kenickie on their final tour.
